It finally feels like fall as we enter into the most beautiful season in New England. Our golf event season is coming to an end but there is still plenty of time to hit the links. Break out your sweater and enjoy the lovely weather!
Two of our favorite events of the year are coming up soon! Our Toys Fore Joy Turkey Shoot, and Member Appreciation Holiday Party are this month. All information and signups for these events can be found in the golf shop.
We have some important updates below so please make sure to read each section. Our weekly "Tournament Tuesday" emails are also a great way to stay in the loop on all golf and restaurant events. If you missed out recent Mid-Season Member Update click the link to check it out, there are some great announcements about our new membership promotion, and member updates for the fall and next season.
Golf Course Hours
Starting November 1st, weekday tee times will begin at 8:30AM and weekend tee times will begin at 8:00AM. The pro shop and driving range open thirty minutes prior to the first tee time each day. Please be mindful of frost delays, which will be notified via the Blackhawk app. Any frost delays will result in tee times being pushed back, and not the cancellation of times during the frost. As always please call the golf shop with any questions.
We will be OPEN on Veterans Day, Monday November 11th, with weekend/holiday fees and starting times applicable, and CLOSED Tuesday November 12th. We will also be CLOSED on Thanksgiving, Thursday November 28th.
Restaurant Update
The bar and restaurant will close for the season on November 3rd. We will have the beverage cart on course for the weekends, weather permitting. Drinks and snacks will still be available in the golf shop through the end of the golf season.
Agronomy Update
Members of Blackhawk Country Club,
As most of you have noticed we have had a dry and windy late September - October this has brought some challenges this fall. Between watering more frequently and battling leaf blowing it’s been like no other fall we have had in recent years. Our staff will continue to diligently remove leaves to make for a playable surface daily.
The one good part of how the weather pattern has been is that we haven’t had a frost delay yet. Hopefully we will have very few frost delays in the next coming weeks. In the case of delays we will do our best to get the golf course ready for you to play as soon as possible after the frost lifts.
We look forward to hopefully some great fall golf days ahead as well as a successful Toys Fore Joy tournament to raise money and toys for a great cause!

Member Credit Book
As a reminder, all credit book expires at the end of the season (12/22). You may redeem your credit for pro shop merchandise, food, and non-alcoholic beverages. Special orders for golf merchandise are also available, check with Alex for availability of items and to place an order. Please let the staff know that you would like to use credit when making your purchase.

Member Updates (newsletters) will be distributed monthly via email from membership@blackhawkct.com To view a feed of published Member Updates, please visit the Member Area. Our weekly "Tournament & Events Roundup" emails are sent every Tuesday, these include results, upcoming events, and sign-up information.
More timely course updates, tournament information, and reminders are sent out via push notification on the Mobile App. Make sure push notifications are set to “ON” to receive these updates. If you need assistance, please contact Alex.
